Gettin the hell out of Dodge

“You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You'll never remember class time, but you'll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. Drink 'til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does...” -Tom Petty

I spent my weekend in a real college town. It was eye opening because I got a real taste of what I was missing in this hell hole. In Athens, I was shotgunning beers in the middle of North Campus. In Piedmont, I have to go off campus to even light up a Swisher Sweet. Doesn't that seem a little ridiculous?! Since when was it worth missing college? It isn't. I'm ready to jump this ship and get to a real college where things are MUCH different. Ole Miss here I come!
